AI Recap
Sorry to all of you I harassed at 9 o'clock last night to watch American Idol because "David's gonna be on!!!" I was so flippin' excited and nervous for this performance.
I was almost literally bouncing off the walls.
As my husband looked on with a little bit of fear in his eyes. Sorry.
But...
I really wish they presented David with his gold plaque for his album, and platinum plaque for Crush. It would have really showed everyone that he's doing quite well for himself. I mean, they did present Cook with his plaques when he was on a couple weeks ago. So why not Mr. Archuleta? Alas, the Idol conspiracy lives on...
Now for some youtube goodness. Almost immediately after his performance, David uploaded a vlog for his fans. He talks a bit about his performance and being back on AI but most importantly, he talks about a charity called 'Invisible Children' that he's been supporting. Who else would think of supporting a charity right after they perform on the Idol stage in front of millions? Really gives you a peak into his character. Using his appearance to promote not only himself, but others as well.

Anyways, I thought David did an awesome job. He seemed to be nervously excited and still a little sick. But I loved how he was so smiley and had a lot of energy. I hope it showed the greater public just how much he's grown as a performer (and speaker!) this past year.
